Our botanical press is both a functional and a beautiful heirloom you can pass on to future generations. use it as a fun activity to preserve flowers from nature walks or catalogue your own garden. this piece includes a canvas bag for storage, and is made from birch wood, paper, cotton, canvas, and metal. to use this piece, simply and gently place a botanical item between the paper sheets. next, sandwich the paper sheets within the cardboard and wood pieces. then, wrap the straps around the layers and tighten the straps, pulling through the rings. depending on the plant used, you may need to tighten the straps after a few days. some plants may need pressing for 3 to 4 weeks before they dry.
