My name is Jo Uhing, I grew up in Herman, NE. My first cooking job started when I went to Punk Freeman’s Phillip 66 gas stations and cafe to get a pop, that is where I had my first job at 15. Long story short, a cook was born.
After graduating high school, I married a farmer and started cooking for them. We had two beautiful girls, which have become two beautiful women ( who can also cook). I also have two granddaughters, an over-achieving grandson and one adorable great-grandaughter.
In 1983, I decided it was time to get back into the career I loved so much so for the next 20+ years I cooked everything from pancakes to cinnamon rolls and prime rib. I then started for working for Masters Hand in 2002.
